why is this not an option?

What was so wrong with Americas isolationist views prior to WWI. We took care of our selves, we didn't get involved in any other country issues and we were strong. Forget this whole global community crap!!! America is always caring for and helping everyone else while we're dying at home. These other countries can't help themselves much less help us and if they could they wouldn't. Time we took care of ourselves and stopped the bleeding here at home. Bring our troops home, get out of the middle east PERIOD!!. Let the Jews and Arabs settle their own problems. Kick all these foreign investors out. They mean us no good. They make money here to send home, not fuel our economy. Tell China to F&^K off!!! They can buy their own crap. There's nothing wrong with closing our borders indefinitely. We are not the the keepers of the worlds sick, tired, downtrodden, persecuted, political prisoners, etc..... Don't come here. (pet peeve~ immigrants come here and complain about this country . If this country is so bad then why the hell are you here?) Take down, and NEVER put back up, the sign on Americas door, ya know the one that reads: Come here and get free education for your children, food stamps, medicaid, housing assistance and the right to sue for a paper cut; don't work, form a gang, sell drugs, get shot, become an invalid and collect SSI or when you turn 65 and are to old to sell drugs you get your SSI then.If all else fails, go to jail get fed 3 meals a day, free education, health care, gym facilities, clothes, laundry access and a clean dry bed every night. All written in Spanish. Can we please just take care of ourselves. Why is that seen as a bad thing?
